Hi humans!!

I know I’ve been MIA lately, and that’s because I’m literally so busy I haven’t had time to do anything but work, eat, and sleep.

I just wanted to give a little life update! ALSO, I have tons of photos on my phone that I will be dumping here in case you’re interested in that kinda thing ‘n’ stuff.

WEIGHT UPDATE: I set a goal to gain 10 pounds by my birthday (September 24) and this morning I reached that goal. HAAAY! I’m not even upset about it. I’ve gained a lot of muscle and it’s honestly all gone to my butt and triceps. Random, I know. I have a few things to thank for these gains: 1) All the food. I’ve been consistently eating at least 5000 calories a day, usually more. Mostly carbs. 2) Lifting. I’ve really been seeing progress and watching myself grow (physically and mentally) and it’s really cool. 3) Sitting on my butt all day. Working 9 hours at a desk, and then coming home and sitting down and then sleeping. Yep..the only time I’m on my feet are those 50-60 minutes I spend lifting. Anyway, that’s helped a lot.

WERK UPDATE: I’ve been working 9 or so hours a day, and yesterday I actually worked 16 hours because I worked for 9 and then babysat for 7. Needless to say, I was exhausted last night when I got home at midnight and this morning Jarrett and I slept in until 10. Something I haven’t done in…I don’t even know how long. Anyway, I’m thrilled to have this job and am really lucky to have this kind of income at 20 years old, but it’s certainly a lot of work. (Not that I didn’t expect work to be work…but ya know.)

SCHOOL&STUFF UPDATE: I’m glad to have Saturday and Sunday off of work, but I have to essentially spend all day just doing my independent study work, grocery shopping, and getting things prepared for next week. I’ve been so busy I just don’t even have time to do fun things anymore! I have to savor every single moment I get with Jarrett. We used to spend his three days off work doing fun stuff and going on dates, but there literally is no time anymore so we just hang out at home on weekend mornings and a couple weekday nights. We also have gone fishing, which he is currently obsessed with. He bought a boat. I don’t even know.

Did I ever mention that I dyed my hair mahogany? I don’t know that I did. I know it was in my vlog, but yeah. My hair is now purpley-red. I quite like it.

I have a vlog uploading right now, so the rest of my updates will be in there! I have a lot to say and a lot of posts planned, but for now I have to get back to all of my homework.

OH. Please go and buy the 1) Red Velvet bagels and 2) Pumpkin Spice bagels. MOUTHGASM / 10 would buy again. I love seasonal things. I’m obsessed with anything pumpkin right now. I know, I and every other white girl out there.

Sorry this post was brief and sporadic, but I’m like in such a different head space than I have been in the past year and I’m trying to adjust to it. It’s a good thing, for sure…but it’s different. I have been having hardly any “disordered” or bad thoughts lately, and it’s honestly so amazing. If you’re struggling right now, please know it gets better. But ONLY if you put in the work.



I bought a single Quest Bar and I forgot how much I love this flavor despite the fact that I normally H8 coconut.

  1. Shewt. I just finally found those Combat bars today and I was so excited to try that flavor. Humph. I was disappointed in the Cookies and Cream ones, so I’m thinking I may not end up being a fan of this one either.
    Any who, I love your photo dumps and I am so glad to hear good news from you! My life has been cray-zee lately too with starting my freshman year, moving out to live on campus, and being overloaded with social outings (and biochem, yuck). Staying busy DOES help get your mind away from negative thoughts though and it gives me a sense of purpose. πŸ™‚

        As for Combat Crunch, I think I can forgive them since Cinnamon Twist is like a gift from God. Hahah. Love that one.

  3. Red velvet bagels? – interesting. Have you ever tried Edys red velvet cake ice cream? And also- I hate coconut usually too but that quest bar is pretty good – gotta be in the mood for it though. And the choc pb pure protein bars are good, I want to try the s’mores one too.
    And I tried this pumpkin spice peanut butter this week and it is OMG fantastic, straight outta the jar! (High protein with flax, no added sugar)
    Love the photo dumps and updates. The vlog, yes, was entertaining πŸ™‚ and congrats on meeting your goal early.
    You may be busy but come end of semester you’ll probably feel as light as a feather with classes over!

    1. HAHAH wasn’t it awful? I wish so badly that I would’ve liked it because it had such great potential. And now I’m realizing that I get more worked up over a protein bar than I do like on important life matters but YOLO


      1. It was incredibly awful. I opened it and smelled it and then mentally prepped myself. It was far too late. BUT IT DID HAVE POTENTIAL. That poor bar…. I almost typed poop but caught myself and then died laughing. It would have been accurate anyways. This is my life hahaha.
